Rolls Royce Motor Cars is currently working on the updated version of the Ghost that is expected to make its debut early next year. The model has already been spotted testing in two variants including Standard and Extended Wheelbase (EWB).

Unlike the outgoing model, the new Rolls Royce Ghost will be underpinned by the aluminium platform that is the base for the phantom VIII and Cullinan. The new platform will also result in significant weight reduction.

Updates to the exterior of the upcoming Ghost from Rolls Royce will include a new set of headlamps and tail lights and reworked front and rear bumpers. Details regarding the interior remain unknown at the moment although we can expect it to be inspired by the Cullinan SUV.

Powertrain options on the new-gen Rolls-Royce Ghost is expected to be the same 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that currently produces 570bhp and 900Nm of torque and comes paired to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. Also on offer could be an all-electric or Plug-In Hybrid variant.
